5 dicas para você escolher e comprar o primeiro kimono de Jiu-Jitsu

A hora da compra do primeiro kimono gera muitas dúvidas não apenas para os praticantes de Jiu-Jitsu, como para atleta de todas as outras artes marciais. Isso porque a escolha errada do traje pode causar transtornos posteriores, durante a utilização.

Problemas que podem variar desde o tamanho incorreto, desgaste precoce ou modelo inadequado à atividade escolhida. Para ajudar os atletas que estão iniciando no Jiu-Jitsu, e judô, karatê etc, Miguel Malak, presidente da Torah Kimonos, ensina algumas dicas importantes para não se cometer erros na escolha do uniforme de luta.

1. Kimono de Jiu-Jitsu é para o Jiu-Jitsu! Não improvise

“A primeira coisa que precisa ser lembrada é que o kimono atende a sua modalidade específica de acordo com as regras de cada esporte (Jiu-Jitsu, judô, karatê etc). Assim, opte por um que seja compatível com a sua prática”, diz Miguel.

2. O tamanho certo do kimono

“Procure um tamanho que se adequa perfeitamente à sua altura e proporções volumétricas. Kimonos pequenos ou grandes demais vão prejudicar o seu desempenho”, ensina. Veja a sugestão de tamanho, baseado em idade e altura:

M00: até 3 anos
M0: até 5 anos
M1: até 7 anos
M2: até 9 anos
M3: até 11 anos
JR: até 13 anos

A1: até 1,70m
A2: até 1,80m
A3: até 1,90m
A4: até 2,0m
A5: acima de 2m

3. O tecido adequado

“Existem kimonos de diferentes tecidos e, desse modo, a sua escolha em cada modalidade garante a maior ou menor durabilidade. Os confeccionados com 100% de algodão são mais resistentes e não alérgicos. Kimonos fabricados com tecidos não tingidos (ou seja, aqueles do tipo cru) sofrem encolhimento prematuro e acentuado por não terem sido submetidos a nenhum processo químico”, ensina o fabricante.

4. Kimonos reforçados no lugar certo

“Algumas modalidades necessitam de reforços estratégicos em locais de maior desgaste (peito, costas, axilas, joelhos, aberturas laterais etc). A gola deve proporcionar resistência e durabilidade, porém também deve oferecer conforto ao atleta. As calças necessitam de aberturas suficientes para proporcionar o máximo de mobilidade. As linhas utilizadas devem ser grossas e compatíveis com a gramatura do tecido, porém não interferem na resistência do mesmo”, reforça ele.

5. Faixas e acabamentos no kimono

“As faixas infantis não devem ser muito grossas, pois o atleta não terá força suficiente para apertar o nó”, lembra Miguel. “Não esqueça que etiquetas, bordados e impressões em silk proporcionam beleza e acabamento ao produto, mas devem ser produzidas e localizadas conforme a regra de cada modalidade esportiva.”

Paulo e João Miyao faturam cinturões do GP do Berkut Jiu-Jitsu

João e Paulo Miyao com seus respectivos cinturões do ACBJJ.

A gelada Rússia teve no último domingo, dia 16, uma grande apresentação com a nata do Jiu-Jitsu leve no mundo, em mais uma edição do Berkut Jiu-Jitsu.

Também conhecido como ACBJJ, o evento contou com dois GPs, um até 60kg e outro até 65kg, com oito atletas cada. Mesmo com nomes de peso como Léo Vieira, Augusto Tanquinho e Rafael Barata, os destaques do dia ficaram para a dupla casca-grossa Paulo e João Miyao.

Os irmãos craques no berimbolo faturaram os dois GPs do evento, João em 60kg e Paulo nos 65kg. João, para garantir a cinta, venceu Mayko Araujo, Laércio Fernandes e Isaac Doederlein, este último na final do evento, após vencer três dos quatro rounds que contemplam o formato da disputa.

Paulo, por sua vez, teve de superar Osvaldo Queixinho e Augusto Tanquinho para garantir sua vaga na final. Pelo título, finalizou Gabriel Marangoni pelas costas.

O lendário ginásio do Tijuca Tênis Clube, na zona norte do Rio de Janeiro, recebeu um torneio diferente no último sábado, dia 15. Ao invés de craques conhecidos mundialmente e nomes de peso nas divisões de faixa-preta, os destaques foram para as futuras estrelas da arte suave.

O Sul-Americano de Crianças da IBJJF trouxe para pais e atletas um ambiente familiar e competitivo, no qual as ferinhas puderam lutar pelo ouro e mostrar o seu valor. O exército de faixas coloridas, da faixa-cinza até a faixa-verde, apresentou Jiu-Jitsu avançado e mostrou que o futuro do nosso querido esporte está garantido.

Na categoria faixa-preta adulto, o nome da vez foi o do brasileiro Mahamed Aly. Astro da equipe Lloyd Irvin, a fera mordeu os quatro ouros que disputou no evento, com títulos no pesadíssimo e no absoluto, tanto de pano quanto sem paletó.

Mahamed começou sua maratona dourada ao bater o local Oleksandr Karliychuk (Renzo Gracie Academy) pelo título pesadíssimo de kimono.
